New York, June 23, 2020 – Wealthspire Advisors, an NFP company and independent investment advisor, announced today that it recently made a donation of over $28,000 to Feeding America, the U.S. hunger relief organization. Wealthspire made the donation as part of its COVID-19 response campaign.
“Food insecurity has been exacerbated by COVID-19 in communities across the country, and this donation will help to support the ongoing fight against hunger,” said CEO Mike LaMena. “I am immensely proud of our team’s generosity. As individuals and as a company we’ve shown we are committed to making a positive impact on our local communities. Our contribution to Feeding America also demonstrates that advancing the common good where we live and work is something we can all do through giving, advocating and volunteering.”
The donation includes Wealthspire’s initial seeding contribution, employee contributions, and dollar for dollar company matching of those employee contributions.
