Jim joined the firm as a Managing Director and Advisor in 2020, working through the Wealthspire Annapolis and Fulton, MD offices.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial planning industry, Jim’s role as a Fiduciary advisor is to develop customized recommendations, managing each client’s particular situation in an unbiased and objective manner. Jim believes in a comprehensive approach, integrating areas such as investment management, retirement planning, risk management, and tax planning into his coordinated planning process.
Prior to joining Wealthspire, Jim was a Partner at Strategic Wealth Management Group, LLC. (StratWealth). As a Founding Partner of StratWealth since November 1991, Jim was an integral part of the Leadership Team in building a successful, independent Registered Investment Advisory practice.
Jim is an active Board Member for Friends of the Light House, an Annapolis based non-profit organization that hosts events in support of The Light House Homeless Prevention Center. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Eileen and their three children, residing near Annapolis, Maryland. Jim’s other interests include travel and a variety of outdoor activities such as running, hiking and biking.
