Yoni Berhane, CFP®

Vice President

Jonathan “Yoni” Berhane is a Financial Advisor who works with a wide variety of clients from young business professionals who are accumulating wealth and have increasing financial complexities to high net worth executives and families seeking a trusted financial partner. His clients are sophisticated, educated investors with limited time who seek an empathetic advisor to serve as an unbiased sounding board for financial decisions.

Yoni is also committed to serving underrepresented investors including people of color. As the industry continues to evolve to reach a broader audience, Yoni hopes to help bridge the gap and educate his clients on topics that can help them make informed decisions to help them achieve their life goals.

Yoni joined the firm in 2016 and believes in a balance of empathy and analytics in his approach to serving clients. His goal is to make a positive impact and reduce stress for those he serves, ultimately helping them focus on what matters most to them and giving them confidence that their wealth is protected throughout their lifetime and beyond.

Yoni is committed to driving DEI awareness in the financial services industry and in fostering the next generation of financial advisors. He is a member of Wealthspire’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging committee (DEIB) and he manages the firm’s internship program for New York. He is also dedicated to serving his community, offering his services pro bono through the Financial Planning Association.

“I became an advisor because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives that was personal and quantifiable. Communication is everything; we all have emotions around our relationship to money, and I strive to understand each person’s story so that we can communicate effectively, establish trust, and then start to build momentum toward making a real positive impact on their lives.”
